1979 first setting up of AMA Agencies in West Africa.

AMA Guinee first Logistics Company to be set up in guinea, was created in 1979 in partnership with the Guinean national arming, and has played a very important role in the Port of Conakry privatisation. Nowadays, it has 30% of the market shares;
AMA Guinee is present in nine (09) other countries of west Africa and covers Maritime Agency and Port handling fields of activities.

AMA Guinee participated actively in the creation of AGEMAP (Association of Handlers) and is part or it this association gathers five (05) Port handling companies which assure the whole vessels handling calling at Conakry port. It also assures the management of BMOP (Port operations and handling office) which employs roughly 1000 duckers with a capital of one billion Guinean Francs, 330 employed persons and 242 calls per year.

AMA Guinee is also member of CTS (Terminal Containers Services) and represents the following shippers:

  • GRIMALDI Lines (north continent USA East Coast, south America)
  • NORDANA Lines (gulf of Mexico)
  • ECOMARINE (Feeder West Africa)
  • POLYTRA (Bulkcariers of Quick Lime)
  • Protecting Agent of Oldendorff at Kamsa

Moreover, AMA Guinee is favoured partner of sea lift and Act of Humanitarian Aid cargo shipper.

AMA Guinee also has a specialised service for the big mining projects and industrial unities; computering, tracking, deliveries towards the countryside, specialised machines, heavy loads (heavy tank carriers, 60, 70, 100 T).
